3 weeks ago I had rhinoplasty performed by Doctor DeVita and not only did his work change my life, but it also influenced what I want to study in college. I have wanted this surgery since I was 13 years old, and now being 18 right before entering my freshman year of college, my parents let me have this surgery. I was so nervous going through all the consultations and also anxious because my time was limited. From the moment Doctor DeVita met with me, I knew he was the surgeon for me. He moved the process along and made sure I would go to college comfortably with a nose I'd love. He walked me through the surgery and I felt great. I had my cast taken off two weeks ago and my nose was beautiful and that moment changed my life forever. Took me 3 years to finally find the right surgeon to repair my nose that I broke playing rugby, and more importantly a surgeon who could get the procedure adequately covered by my insurance. I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Devita. This was my first experience with plastic surgery and Dr. Devita made it comfortable and transparent to me. He explained to me an extended tummy tuck and lipo was a big surgery and would have a long recovery and with a 3 month old he wanted to make sure I was had support at home. He took his time to explain the procedure and what was best for me. After my surgery he made it his business to call me or text me every night for the first week to make sure everything was ok and continues to see me once a week almost 4 weeks post op. He has come out into the waiting room to meet my husband and my father on separate occasions to make sure I was doing well at home. You really couldn’t ask for more of a doctor especially a busy plastic surgeon. I recently went to Dr DeVita for a consult. I had a double mastectomy 7 years ago and I was unhappy with the results all these years later. I also had concerns about a severe case of diastasis recti that I was presenting with after the birth of my third child. I knew immediately that Dr DeVita was the doctor that I was going to choose. Dr DaVita is a professional friendly face that you want to see. He performed a procedure where previously I had open heart surgery (with several complications) and the scar is definitely something I will live looking at. I am 20 and I am on blood thinners due to a blood clotting condition. I had been to a doctor before who wouldn't even talk about what he might do he just dismissed me. I came into my consult with no pictures of what I wanted, but told Dr. Devita I wanted a very subtle nose job. He knew exactly what I was looking for and what to do, and although extremely nervous, I trusted his knowledge and work. My experience with Dr. Devita from my first appointment, actual surgery, and follow ups all went really well. After having 2 kids and working out 3 to 4 times per week (between Zumba and kickboxing) and watching my diet like crazy I still couldn’t lose that little pudge of fat on my belly. So I did some research online and came across Dr. Devita’s practice. On my initial consultation Dr. Devita showed me a big book of all his cases which showed how many successful surgeries he had completed. I was not only impressed with his work but excited to know that I can return to the size 4 I was before having my kids. I am now 6 weeks postop. My husband and I are both stunned with the transformation from before and after. I can honestly admit that I look better now then I did before having my kids. I had a MRSA infection in my sternoclavicular joint, which is the joint that connects the clavicle and sternum. On day 6 of my hospital stay I was told the infection was getting worse and I would require immediate surgery. There wasn't any time to research surgeons, this had to be done immediately. I was fortunate to be at St Francois Hospital which provided incredible care. I was even more fortunate to have Dr Devita as the surgeon who handled the chest muscle flap after the cardio thoracic surgeon cut out the joint and surrounding bone. Dr Devita is a skilled surgeon, and though his work on me was not cosmetic, his skill and experience as a surgeon was pretty clear. I am 6 weeks post op, and for the most part i'm back to life with little discomfort. I am one month post op from a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Devita. My circumstances where unique in that not only was I incredibly nervous because of a previously botched rhinoplasty but I had recently also broke my nose so I was very unhappy with the size, shape and functionality of my nose. My nose has been an ongoing issue my entire life and I can say from the bottom of my heart Dr. Devita has given me a new lease on life. I was concerned about potentially making my nose worse by having another surgery but the results I have now are pretty substantial in both breathing and cosmetically. I will start off by saying that Dr. Devita has changed my life. I was recommended by my mother, who had a breast augmentation from him years ago. When she wanted to do this surgery she has consulted with nine different plastic surgeons before she found Dr. Devita. From that, I just knew that Dr. Devita was the one. Not only is he an artist, but he made me feel very comfortable and has answered all my questions. I kept switching my surgery dates because something always came up and he was very patient with me. He never rushed me out and ALWAYS treated me with kindness. I am now 4 weeks post-op from a breast augmentation and words can not express how good I feel. Dr. DeVita did amazing work and I am so happy with everything he has done. I am almost 2 weeks post-op from a corrective Breast surgery by Dr. DeVita. I had surgery 3 months ago by a different doctor and was botched I had many complications, after 3 months of complications, and what I call "hell", I went to Dr. DeVita for help. I was referred to him by a friend who had multiple good experiences with him...He took so much time to review and discuss the procedure and listen to exactly what I wanted the end result to be. He was detail in what could be fixed and what couldn't be completely corrected. I am so pleased with the results. He made all corrections necessary and fixed all that needed to be fixed exactly to how he described it. After my last surgery I didn't know what to expect I had so much discomfort, pain and looked terrible for 3 months...Like I said I am now almost 2 weeks post-op and I am feeling great able to function normally, healing well and my breast look great! I would also like to take the time to recognize his staff as well, everyone was so nice and helpful and comforting, I was anxious to have this surgery sooner than later because of what I was dealing with from the first surgery, it was Easter week and they didn't have an opening they worked on it and did all they could and they made sure to get me in ASAP for surgery...Thank You LeeAnne and all the rest of the staff. Dr DeVita and his team were absolutely amazing. They make you feel confident and secure. I broke my nose twice when I was younger so I decided to get rhinoplasty done. The results came out amazing and I couldn't have been happier! Dr. DeVita answers all questions and always gets back to you! Seven months into my healing process I fell at home hit my nose and it started bleeding. I panicked and called the office and Dr. DeVita saw me within 2 hours (thankfully everything was Okay). I waited 29 years to have my nose fixed and met with tons of plastic surgeons and never felt secure and/or comfortable enough with their work. After a weight loss of 110 lbs, Dr Devita has transformed my body and changed my life. 10 years ago i had an abdominoplasty with him. The results were so incredible that just 3 months ago I went back to him once again and had brachioplasty and mastopexy. These procedures have taken 20 years off of my body. Throughout adolescence and up until my surgery I always felt extremely self-conscious about my nose. It wasn't the worst, but I felt it was just a bit too large at the end and stuck out just a little too far. I felt as if my nose did not belong on my face. My procedure went very smoothly and Dr. DeVita did not even have to break my nose, he just removed some cartilage. Recovery was painful, but the worst of it was over after about 4 days. Just a few weeks later I was back at work and barely anyone noticed something was different, which is exactly what I wanted. Over a year later my family and I could not be happier with my nose. I feel that this is the nose I was meant to have and that a great weight has been lifted off of my own self-image and comfort. Dr. DeVita is a very energetic and positive presence. Every meeting I've had with him, from my first consultation to later follow ups, have been nothing but pleasant. He does speak very fast(I think because he is so busy) so think of any questions you have before hand and make sure to interject and get them in! I was referred to Dr. DeVita by an acquaintance who had received a rhinoplasty from him. Upon our first meeting he offered me a book of before and after pictures of hundreds of his past rhinoplasty patients (and those were just from those who had given consent to use their pictures).
